The Tastes Beyond Borders Foundation is an international culinary movement dedicated to celebrating and preserving the national culinary heritage of every country. Our mission is to build a global network of chefs who work collaboratively to emphasize the deep cultural identity behind each cuisine, while also inspiring the next generation of chefs to reconnect with their own culinary roots.
We believe that cuisine is not just about recipes—it is a living expression of history, environment, and tradition. Through this foundation, chefs explore the stories behind traditional dishes, studying the origin of ingredients, local customs, and ancestral cooking methods, to respectfully reinterpret them using contemporary techniques and refined presentations.
At the heart of our philosophy is the use of Km0 (zero-kilometer) and sustainable products, encouraging responsible sourcing that supports local farmers, reduces environmental impact, and promotes authenticity

In the Kingdom of Taste
In collaboration with Dinner Incredible, this was the first immersive cultural and culinary experience of its kind in Saudi Arabia, held in 2023. Twelve Michelin-starred chefs from around the world gathered to explore the rich heritage, ingredients, and traditions of the Kingdom. Together, they reinterpreted Saudi cuisine through contemporary techniques, creating unforgettable dishes that bridged cultures and celebrated the flavors of the land.
Italy Meets Saudi Arabia
In collaboration with Dinner Incredible, this unique cultural and culinary encounter brought together Italian Michelin-starred chefs and renowned Saudi talents to celebrate the art of fusion. Rooted in tradition yet inspired by innovation, the event showcased how Italian techniques and Saudi ingredients can create a new language of taste. Through shared kitchens, storytelling, and creativity, chefs from both countries honored their heritage while building flavorful bridges between two rich culinary worlds.
European Food Festival
In collaboration with the European Union and Euro-Toques Italia, the first Euro-Toques Competition in Saudi Arabia was organized during the European Food Festival in Riyadh in 2024. The event brought together talented Saudi chefs who showcased their creativity by combining European culinary techniques with local Saudi flavors, reflecting a spirit of cultural exchange and gastronomic innovation. The competition marked a milestone in strengthening culinary diplomacy between Europe and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the shared values of excellence, sustainability, and creativity in modern cuisine.
